Welcome to Brownsville Nature School

Little Sprouts and Grownups Class is for toddler ages 1-2 and is attended by both the child and an adult caregiver.

Classes for ages 3 and up are drop off classes. In our experience, with this model, children are given the opportunity to explore and build independence.

Our teachers and director are certified and trained through the Forest School Teacher Institute. Additionally. teachers must pass a background check and be first aide/CPR certified.

We ask that the children age 3 and up be potty trained the best they can be! Children are taken to the restroom throughout the morning and independently use the restroom. We ask to pack a change of clothes for accidents.

For our Nature School Classes (ages 3-7), we ask parents to pack a trash free lunch box or snack box. Children will be served a hot lunch at 11:30. On many days, children will help prepare or cook the meal.
